Another Veteran graduates the program!

Allow me to introduce you to Scott Doney, Army Veteran who served from 2008-2019. His Primary Specialty was a 12W10, Carpentry and Masonry. Scott was awarded during his time of service the Afghanistan Campaign Medal W/ Campaign Star, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal / National Defense Service Medal and the Global War On Terrorism Service Medal.

Scott began his journey with us just a little over a year ago. Last night he completed his 50 Week Equine Assisted Therapy Program! This program takes an enormous amount of dedication and discipline to show up week after week facing his traumas head on! As Scott accomplished each phase, he was able to put more healing tools in his bucket.  In his first phase he learned “how to be in the moment”. Sitting quietly on the back of his horse, focusing on each movement. The second phase he laid out his initial struggles and embraced what the horses had to offer. Phase three, which is the most challenging, he buckled in for what was yet to come. Rounding out the equine work, phase four, he put all of his previous lessons in play, assisting him on regulation.

Scott, we are so very proud of you and all of the hard work you have put forth!

Everyone please put your hands together for a big round of applause for Scott and his accomplishment!!
