Being In The Moment, Their Journey Together

This is one of Little Blessings Veteran clients, working in Phase 1 of the Veteran Equine Assisted Empowerment Program. It is not as easy as it looks in this picture. When clients walk through the door for their session, they are asked to leave all of their “stuff, i.e. issues” at the door.

This is about the Veteran taking this hour to focus on them and them alone. Here our client is provided an opportunity to let things go and just give them to Sophia, the Clydesdale. She is more than willing to take on, what he is willing to let go. Together, they will be battle buddies on this journey.

“Being with a horse in a complete quiet space like nothing I have every experienced”. The Veterans understand this is a place to let the healing begin.?
