Beyond the Mission is back, and we are starting something new.
Jamie is kicking off a new series within Beyond the Mission called 60 Seconds Truth. And the first topic is one that does not get talked about enough: invisible wounds.
Some wounds are visible. The world can see them. But so many veterans carry struggles that no one around them can identify. No visible scar. No obvious sign. Just the quiet, daily weight of what has been carried since service.
Jamie shares openly in this episode, something she does not take lightly. As a veteran who is 90 percent disabled according to the VA, with half of that rooted in mental health, she knows firsthand what it looks like to appear like you have it all together while still very much being in the process of getting there. Running an organization does not mean the healing is finished. It means the mission continues.
You never really know what someone is carrying. And that is exactly the point.
