Yesterday we had a gentleman who has served 22 years in the Army stop by.
He was in his uniform.
He still has a couple more years to serve.
He said he drives by all the time and just wanted to stop and see what it is that we do.
Jamie probably spent well over an hour walking him around the ranch introducing him to our amazing herd, showing off our beautiful Warrior Garden and sharing specifics about what we offer.
After the tour they went and sat down by one of our outdoor fire pits.
He began to share some of his journey, some of the experiences his family has endured and what his hopes and dreams are for him and his family moving forward.
As they were talking he shared, “as I was pulling up the driveway I felt as though someone was taking the softest most comfortable blanket and wrapping it around me”.
This is truly God at work inviting each and every person who travels through our gates and onto our ranch, HOME.
What an absolutely incredible experience for both Jamie and this soldier.
