David’s Words Capture the Heart of What Makes Little Blessings Unique

David’s words capture the heart of what makes Little Blessings unique. What begins as a visit to the ranch quickly evolves into something deeper—a community of care, connection, and resources for veterans and their families.
From the warm welcome to the stories of every horse and goat, to spaces that invite peace and connection for families, the ranch is more than a place. It is a vision of healing and belonging, created for those who have served and their loved ones.
We are honored to walk alongside veterans like David and families who find more here than they ever expected.
“When invited to Little Blessings, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I expected maybe some horses and other farm animals. What I saw was significantly more.
As a Staff Sergeant relocating his family in preparation for a year away, I was looking for resources for my wife and kids in preparation for my absence. Needless to say, Little Blessings has it all.
It all starts with Jamie, a retired SMSgt and First Sergeant from the USAF. She will greet you like she’s known you for a lifetime with kindness and sincerity. As she provided us the tour of the horse farm, she told each horses’ story and goat’s story with such enthusiasm. Allowing my daughter to pet each animal. Afterwards, she provided a tour of the facility. This is where you literally get to step into the vision of where she’s taking the organization.
Inside, you get to see the heart of a First Sergeant trying to help as many people as humanly possible. There’s multiple common areas with a setting that naturally invites people and provides serenity. In addition to a calming atmosphere, there’s toys and books for children to occupy themselves. There’s also an entire playground outside for children.
Jamie has numerous resources for just about anything a veteran or transitioning service member might need. I expected a farm, what was presented was a community of care and compassion with resources for military families and veterans. Truly remarkable.”
