Haflinger horses are part Arabian? To make the Haflinger originally, it took an Arabian dad and a Tyrolean Mountain mom is what created the breed in the late 1800’s. The breed originated in Italy and Austria. They tend to range in height of 13.2 hands to 15 hands tall with the weight anywhere between 800-1,300 pounds. These horses are smaller but mighty and can carry full grown adults with easy.
