Phase One of the veteran’s program, is all about being in the moment and forming a bond with the horse. Each veteran is paired up with a specific horse to form that bond with them. In the 10 weeks of Phase One, the bond and confidence that is formed between the horse and veteran is carried through the rest of the program.
