Hope on Four Hooves

This young lady’s name is Ana, she is 16 years old. She is one of 9 children. Ana started writing and illustrating her newly released book called “Hope on Four Hooves” when she was 14.
She wrote the book with the intentions of assisting other kids and families as well as wanted to donate a portion of the proceeds back to our organization.
Ana is one of the most remarkable young ladies we have had the privilege of meeting! You see, in this book, she shares her emotions and her journey as a young child living with a military father who struggles with PTSD.  She opens the door and allows you to look inside the reality of her home. Her father served 31 years in the Army and had four combat tours throughout his career. Ana started coming and helping do daily chores almost four years ago.
She continues to come once a week and takes care of the horses and our indoor and outdoor arenas. Ana volunteers as an aid for our kids Social Emotional Equine Assisted Learning (SEEAL) program.
Ana, we are so very proud of you and are so blessed to have you in our LB family! Thank you for all of the gifts you share with all of us!
Love you!!!
