We were recently presented with a $20,000 check from The Justen Caris Memorial Foundation as a donation from their annual poker run! This contribution will allow us to put FIVE Veterans through our 50-week Equine Assisted Therapy program in the next year. That will make a total of 9 Veterans that have been given the gift of these life-saving services in honor of Justen’s legacy.
Justen’s parents, Amy and Bob, visited the ranch to personally deliver this incredible gift. They were able to meet two recently graduated Veterans whose nearly year long journeys were sponsored by last year’s poker run and one Veteran whose journey is just beginning thanks to the foundation’s generosity!
We feel so lucky to partner with Bob & Amy and the entire Justen Caris Memorial Foundation and we are so grateful that they choose to keep Justen’s memory alive in such a beautiful and meaningful way.
