Did you know horses are afraid of simple things like balloons, tarps, plastic bags and hulu hoops?
The Little Blessings Military Kids (LBMK) learned that they are in their mini Spook n’ Shy last night. Each kid was learning how to Regulate to Participate. They learned how to regulate their own energies to help calm down the ponies through a mini obstacle course of terrifying things. They also learned how to work as a team and dress up the ponies for a parade for their parents. They were all so proud with pride to show their parents the creations on the ponies and their awesome horsemanship skills.
These kids have made great strides in ONLY three sessions! Miss Kit from Kit.Cares – Tutoring & Coaching and Miss Kyle, our equine specialists are beyond proud of this group already. We all here at the LB team are excited to see these kiddos grow and learn with our LBMK team.
