Today marks the end of Phase 1 for our 8th group of Military Kids!
During Phase 1, they learned how to identify their emotions and were given many different coping skills to manage them. This group has become close-knit very quickly and we are so proud of their collaboration, participation, and cooperation.
Next week, they head into Phase 2, during which they will learn how to work as a team and cope with big emotions during potentially frustrating situations. We can’t wait to watch them continue to grow through the next two phases of this program!
As we continue to break down socioeconomic barriers to provide these services to our Veterans’ biggest little supporters, consider joining us in that mission by sponsoring a Military Kid!
