Because I have seen it give hope back to people who thought they had run out of it.
I have watched veterans come through these gates carrying years of trying. The appointments. The programs. The medications. All of it. And still feeling like nothing was moving. Then they stepped into the arena with a horse, and something shifted that hadn’t moved in a very long time.
Hope is a powerful thing. And watching it come back to life in someone who had stopped believing it was possible for them is something I will never be able to fully put into words.
