Say hello to Björn! 
Meet Björn, one of the most unforgettable members of our herd. He is a Norwegian Fjord, one of the oldest horse breeds in the world. Fjords were first domesticated over 4,000 years ago, and their ancestors roamed Norway after the last ice age.
Björn carries that history in his calm strength and steady presence. He came to Little Blessings two years ago, donated by an active duty Coast Guard family from Maine who wanted him to continue making a difference.
He has become a gentle favorite among our veterans and families, known for his unique look, his soft spirit, and his ability to help people feel grounded the moment they stand beside him.
Every horse here has a story, and Björn’s is one we are grateful to share.
