Jamie visited Larry Mortimer, Co-Director of the Bedford Township Veteran Center. Larry explained one of the services the BVC offers and that is rides for veterans to and from appointments. The BVC has a van with a wheel chair lift and currently the only driver is Larry, they are in search of more volunteer drivers. The requirements is that you must be 21 years of age, a valid drivers license with a clean record, proof of insurance and a chauffeur’s license (BVC assists on receiving the test).
