Man o man what a summer it has been! It’s hard to believe we just celebrated the last official summer holiday.
Let’s recap what our summer looked like:
Starting at Memorial Day we celebrated several of our families heroes who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
We’ve had an Eagle Scout complete his project of building a wall to highlight our sign.
Home Depot awarded us a grant and can in and made some incredible renovations.
Had several new spouses join our spouses group.
Had a Board of Directors development day.
Endless individual volunteers and companies that have volunteer for building projects, cleaning, gardening and more.
Hosted Mercy Hospital’s President and top Executive team in a half day business retreat.
Graduated 5 more Veterans through our 50 week Veteran Equine Assisted Therapy Program, bringing our total to 25 Veterans.
Graduated our 7th group of Military Kids and started the 8th group. The total number of kids who have completed our kids program is 79.
We have been out in the community supporting different events informing Veterans and their families of the services we offer.
Had some incredible renovations completed by Crossroads Community Church.
Started a faith based monthly gathering called Lite Talk led by one of our inspiring board members.
Had the BEST fundraiser we have had to date!
Launched our first car show “Wheels for Warriors” and it was a huge success!
Our garden has brought our Veterans and community together with planting, maintaining and harvesting some delicious fruits, veggies and herbs.
Donations came in from all sorts of Community Partners, helping to support our programs and services our military families.
And so many more remarkable activities that took place at the ranch and within our community!
