Joe wears many hats—athlete, father, husband, friend, mentor, entrepreneur, and proud Army Veteran. This week, we’re excited to celebrate Joe as he enters Phase 4 of our 50-week Equine Assisted Therapy program at Little Blessings. For the past 30 weeks, Joe has been fully committed to his personal growth and healing journey, and his progress has been nothing short of inspiring.
Anyone who knows Joe can tell you he’s one of the funniest people around, always brightening the room with his infectious humor. But beneath that light-hearted spirit, Joe has shown incredible dedication to working through the deeper challenges in his life.
In Phase 1, Joe learned how to slow down and truly live in the moment. In Phase 2, he creatively tackled real-life challenges through what he affectionately called his “noodle sculptures.” And now, after completing Phase 3, he has spent 10 weeks in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), bravely confronting and processing difficult traumatic experiences to help his mind heal.
Joe’s journey requires immense strength, courage, and resilience, and we could not be prouder of the hard work he continues to put in each day. Join us in celebrating Joe’s incredible progress as he moves into this next phase of healing. We are honored to walk this path with him.
Joe’s participation in the program is generously sponsored by JDRM Engineering. We couldn’t do what we do without our phenomenal sponsors!
