Group 9 of the LB Military Kids Program is in full swing and we are having a blast! This group of littles is in Phase 2 of the 18-week program, figuring out how to use the skills they’ve learned to work as a team and tolerate frustration.
These kids are having fun, but also putting in work to build social-emotional skills and coping strategies with the help of our sweet (and sometimes a little sassy) mini horses! We are so grateful to be able to provide these essential services to our Veterans’ biggest little supporters and we are SO proud of these kids for showing up every week for themselves and each other. It is a privilege not only to watch them each grow, but to see the friendships and peer support that blossoms as a result of this program!
