As we prepare to begin our 9th group of Military Kids , we want to show some love to one of the incredible ladies that makes it happen! Kara Shumaker has been a huge supporter of Little Blessings since our mission was nothing more than a thought in Jamie’s mind! She has dedicated herself to helping this organization grow and thrive in so many different ways since day 1, and we could not be more grateful for her.
Now, serving as our Education Specialist for the Military Kids program for her 3rd year, Kara spends her Monday nights showing love to our littles as they learn how to cope with their emotions and be productive members of their communities. Bringing kindness, empathy, some tough love, classroom management skills, and extensive horse experience to the table, Kara does a phenomenal job every week co-facilitating this one-of-a-kind program!
