Our certified and highly experienced Equine Specialists are another piece of what makes our programs at Little Blessings high quality and highly effective! Kyle Schaller, Jamie Paxton, Rain Glynn, and Sarah DeBruyne, our incredible Equine Specialists, are all nearly lifelong horsewomen!
Eagala (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association), an internationally recognized governing organization for equine assisted services, requires that Equine Specialists have 6,000 lifetime hours of hands on experience with horses and more than 100 hours of formal continuing education related to work with equines. ES are also required to attend an intensive-multi day training to gain certification and complete 20 yearly hours of continuing education to maintain it!
Kyle, Jamie, Rain, and Sarah’s experience goes far beyond the requirements that Eagala has set to obtain and maintain a certification to provide equine assisted services. These 4 women have a combined 100+ years of horse experience from horse care & husbandry, training, riding lessons, 4-H, horse showing, trail riding, and equine rehabilitation to therapeutic riding and even Hippotherapy!
We place great importance on ensuring our Equine Specialists are experienced, educated, and certified to not only provide the best services to our clients, but also to ensure our equine team members receive high quality care!
